Is it possible to read into the NanoMaker patterns from DXF a file?
A:
Boundaries, polygons and polylines can be imported into NanoMaker from a DXF file (AutoCAD Drawing Exchange File), using the Import command in the File menu. NanoMaker supports import of AutoCAD DXF files in R12/LT2 format or in R13/LT95, not newer. So, when you design you structures in AutoCAD, save the DXF file as (AutoCAD) version 12 or 13.
NanoMaker does not support the import of 3-dimensional geometry. All polygons/lines/polylines must be 2-dimensional and in the XY plane (Z=0).
